Trim YouTube Videos Via Mobile App, Create Custom Headers and Footer in Google Docs, and More

Android users, rejoice! The YouTube team is proud to introduce a new video-trimming feature and inline video previews for the mobile app.  Now you can select the exact frame where the video starts and ends, giving you precise control of your trims in a simple, intuitive way. h/t +Dan Leighton 

Headers and Footers – the way you want themplus.google.com

You can now use different headers and footers on the first pages of your documents, which comes in handy for:

  • Following academic formatting guidelines (e.g. MLA, CMS, APA)
  • Starting page numbering on the second page
  • Making a title page without headers or footers

There’s also a new Insert > Page Number menu that lets you customize how and where you start your page numbers. h/t +Roscelia Lavenant
