A dedicated website for Google Hangouts is now live. From the new site you’ll be able to take advantage of the best of Hangouts in the browser, along with an inspiring image to get you through the day. Visit: https://hangouts.google.com 

Open a File Using Web Apps or Apps Installed on Your Computerplus.google.com

Late last year, Google has added the ability to open files from Google Drive directly into the compatible application installed on your computer. This ability is added to the Google Drive viewer as well. This includes apps like image and video editing software, accounting and tax programs, or animation and design tools.

Alphabet Inc. will replace Google Inc. as the publicly-traded entity and all shares of Google will automatically convert into the same number of shares of Alphabet, with all of the same rights. Google will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alphabet. Two classes of shares will continue to trade on Nasdaq as GOOGL and GOOG.
