We are delighted to announce our second annual event in the Philippines in cooperation with the Noblesse International School in Angeles, Pampanga. Mark your calendars for the Philippines ‘Google Cloud Camp’ happening this November 22, 2014
The Philippines Google Cloud Camp is a curriculum focused on authentic and valuable ways to use Google Education Tools in the classroom. It is a selection of workshops with the beginners in mind while providing those ready to ‘level’ up with unique uses and tips for using Google apps in the classroom, organization, for productivity or collaboration.
If you are looking for basic training for apps or are unsure of ‘what else’ you can get out of it, this program is for you. It is not a ‘beginner’ course but rather a way to ‘level’ up.
It’s going to be a really great event with Google Certified Teachers and edTech consultants Lee Webster and James Sayer flying in from Bangkok to Pampanga just for the event. For those planning to get Google certified, the event is also a fantastic opportunity to prepare for the Google Certified Educator qualifications.

Along with the one-day cloud camp, the school is also organizing a pre-conference on Friday, November 21st, on Memorology and Reading Horizons. These seminars are based on the curriculum and instructional strategies that the school have implemented.
Let’s get to know more about these two techniques and how it can revolutionize the way your students learn:
Einstein’s Memory
Mr. A Soliman, the founder and owner of Henyo Factory is the innovator of the memory-enhancing system called Memorology. He is the head coach who focuses on training students, teachers, and people of all ages on how to unleash the power of their minds and memory. In this session, participants will learn how to enhance their memory and ability to retain and keep a hold of important details. These skills are essential to success in the classroom and the boardroom.
Reading Horizons (The English Acquisition Program that WORKS)
Reading Horizons is dedicated specifically to helping people of all ages to learn to read. Since 1984, Reading Horizons has dedicated its time and efforts to developing and perfecting a reading system based on a methodology that provides explicit, systematic, sequential instruction in decoding, spelling, and pronunciation strategies. This reading system has helped English Language Learners find reading success for the first time. Using the program, the average student gains two-to-three grade levels in reading with just 50 hours of instruction and is empowered with all of the skills needed to continue to improve their reading ability.
Teachers at Noblesse International School will be teaching participants about the program and its’ success at Noblesse.
Both of these three hour sessions will be offered in the morning and afternoon sessions of the preconference (see event website for the complete schedule) and there would be no cost for the pre-conference for anyone who registers for the Google Cloud Camp so register now!
