Google Educator Certification
Google for Education offers certification options for educators using G Suite and Chromebooks to validate their knowledge of the tools in an education setting. All the content for the certifications (and more) can be accessed via Google for Education Teacher Center (sorry about the spelling!).
AppsEvents Certification Bootcamps
AppsEvents offer an intensive day to cover the content and prepare educators to take a practical, online exam to become certified. The ticket price includes an exam voucher to take the exam for free and some Google relate swag to take away. This also gives you access to an experienced Google Certified Trainer for the day, who will lead you through the content and gives you practical tips to take back to your classrooms too.
Google Educator Level 1
Explore the core G Suite tools (GDPR compliant tools made available for schools). This certification is a great benchmark for all educators to work towards to ensure learners get value from the technology put in the hands of the teachers.
Google Educator Level 2
Go deeper with both the Core and additional G Suite tools for educators who want to explore how they can embed technology in transforming learning opportunities. This certification is great for educators looking to support others with technology use and those looking to become certified Trainers or Innovators.
AppsEvents Summits
Summits are one or more days of sessions, workshops and keynotes to inspire educators with Certified Trainer and Innovator led sessions from beginner to advanced. If you want to walk away bursting with ideas, grow your network and have the best professional develop experience sign up for one or our summits or get in touch to being it to your organisation.
Applied Digital Skills
Google have created an online curriculum to support digital skills. The free curriculum has been linked to the English curriculum and uses G Suite tools to explore a range of digital skills. We are delivering free half day workshops for educators to get hands on with the content and learn how they can implement it with their own learners.
Bespoke Training
We are continually working with a wide range of schools, Local Authorities, Trusts and other organisations to build bespoke training plans to support the implementation of G Suite for Education, Chromebooks. This includes strategy sessions, developing staff Google Champions, Subject and Phase specific sessions and Support Staff workshops. If you are looking to implement G Suite and/or Chromebooks we would be happy to have a free call to discuss your options to support the implementation with training.
